Privacy Policy

1. Controller and contact

Arezio AG, Morgartenstrasse 3, 6003 Lucerne, Switzerland, is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy and data-protection requests can be sent to info@arezioag.com.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Arezio mobile app, the Arezio website and related support, community, payment and payout services. Arezio is initially intended for users in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

3. Data we process

Account and profile data: name, email address, authentication state, date of birth, profile image, biography, interests, language and privacy settings.
Birthday and social data: birthday information, visibility choices, connections, follows, invitations and blocked accounts.
Content and communications: wishes, uploaded images, generated or enhanced wish media, posts, reactions, comments, reports and messages.
Transaction data: Wunschfunken purchases, grants, transfers, wish support, refunds, chargebacks, balances, rewards and payout records.
Payout verification data: identity, age, country, tax and bank details required by the payout provider. Sensitive verification data may be collected directly by the provider and is not necessarily stored by Arezio.
Technical and security data: device and operating-system information, IP address, timestamps, push token, app version, security events and abuse signals.
Support and moderation data: support requests, reports, evidence, decisions, appeals and audit records.

4. Why we use data

to create and secure accounts, restore sessions and verify email addresses;
to provide birthdays, wishes, community, content, messaging and notifications;
to process purchases, Wunschfunken, refunds, chargebacks and payouts;
to prevent fraud, enforce rules, investigate reports and protect users;
to answer support requests and comply with legal obligations;
to improve reliability through optional analytics and crash reporting.

Optional analytics and crash reporting are disabled by default and are activated only after consent. They can be switched off again in the app. Arezio does not use advertising tracking and does not sell personal data.

5. Service providers and recipients

Data may be processed by hosting, authentication, database, storage, push-notification, analytics, crash-reporting, app-store, payment, payout, security and customer-support providers where needed to operate Arezio. Purchases made through Apple or Google are also subject to the respective store's privacy rules. Payout verification and transfers are planned through Stripe Connect. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.

6. Visibility and user content

Profile, birthday, wish and content visibility follows the settings selected in the app. Public or community content can be seen by other users. Private messages are visible only to their participants, subject to safety, reporting and legal requirements. Uploaded wish images may be automatically cropped, background-adjusted or visually enhanced to create a consistent wish presentation; the original and processed versions are handled under this policy.

7. Retention and account deletion

An account is disabled immediately after a confirmed deletion request.
A 14-day recovery period applies before final deletion begins.
Personal account data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days after that period, unless a longer period is required for security, disputes or law.
Backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
Financial, payout, tax, fraud-prevention and audit records may be retained for up to 10 years where required.
Optional analytics and crash data is retained for no longer than 90 days.

Deletion can be started in the app or requested at info@arezioag.com. Legal holds, unresolved refunds, chargebacks, fraud investigations or payout duties may delay deletion of the affected records.

8. Security

Arezio uses access controls, server-side authorisation, encrypted transport, audit records and other safeguards appropriate to the risk. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Age requirements

Arezio is intended for people aged 16 or older. Payouts require a person to be at least 18 and to complete the payout provider's identity and compliance checks.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority.

11. Changes

Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect where required. The effective date above identifies the current version.
